Writer Q&A Tag

The amazing-in-all-ways Mollie from Mollie’s Musings tagged me in a fun Q&A. 🙂 You can find hers here. This is the first Q&A I have been tagged in since blogging, and I am more than excited – especially to be tagged by someone I enjoy as much as Mollie.

Here are the rules:

The Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award

The Rules:
1. Thank the blogger who nominated you and link to their blog in your post.
2. Answer the questions that the blogger who nominated you has provided.
3. Nominate ten other bloggers (or up to 10)
4. Create ten questions for your nominees and notify them of their nominations.

Without further ado, Mollie’s questions:

1. When’s your birthday?

September 29th.

2.  What toppings do you choose on your pizza?

Eeek, I am not a pizza person. 😦 Also, as someone who is allergic to things like pepperoni, bacon, Italian sausage, etc. etc. I am very limited. Right now there is only one place I can even tolerate pizza, and then only their chicken parm pizza.

3. What do you call a soft drink/soda-pop/coke/etc. where you’re from?

Most people around here generically call everything a coke. Pretty much in the same boat as pizza, I hardly partake in soft drinks. I never cared for the way they make my mouth feel, even as a kid. When I do refer to them, I usually specify straight away what I’m talking about, perhaps out of fear that the odd time I do want a soda someone will get me a coke instead of a Dr. Pepper.

4. What is your favorite smell?

Oh, gee. Um, a campfire. I love going camping… I was meant to live in the woods, I think.  Oddly, I don’t really like s’mores – unless they’re deconstructed. I love the elements, just not put together… back to smell… there is something distinctive about a campfire to me, it’s unlike anything else. It’s freeing and relaxing.

5. What would be your stripper name? (Name of your first pet+the street you grew up on—ex. Hillary Laurel ;p)

Hahaha “Trouble Brady.” My first cat’s name was Trouble.

6. What’s your guilty pleasure TV show?

If you didn’t think I was boring after not liking pizza, being allergic to bacon, and not drinking soda, then here is the final nail in the coffin: I do not subscribe to any television service whatsoever. I haven’t in three years… which means I don’t have a *guilty* TV show, since I have to make a conscious effort to actually watch something. If I *have* to choose something I guess it’d be Reign. I don’t watch it that often, in fact I’m pretty sure I haven’t started the latest season at all. Other than that I watch: Doctor Who, Sherlock, Supernatural, OITNB, House of Cards, and maybe a few odd shows here and there, but I can go a week or two without even turning my television on. Oh yeah, and Archer.
7. Besides Twitter, what are your top 3 favorite/most used apps or websites.

WordPress, Canva, and the Archerisms app. Because, Call Kenny Loggins.

8. Do you judge a book by its cover? (We’ll stick with real books for this)

I’m pretty sure 99% of the sighted population does, and the other 1% are lying. It’s instinctive to gravitate towards what is pleasing to the eye.

9. How often do you make your bed?

If I go make it now, does that count? 😉 My husband is always still in bed when I leave for work, so I don’t… and he doesn’t either. Soon, his shift will be changing and he will be getting home from work just as I am getting up, so I won’t be making it then, either. I do, however, *have* to straighten it almost to the point it is completely made up before I get into bed. It just doesn’t feel right not to.

10. What’s your idea of a perfect vacation?

Since I already said camping, which by the way *must* be in the mountains, I will describe another perfect vacation: Freaking DISNEY WORLD whenever the crowd levels are at their lowest. I have never been and I have always wanted to go. Other top vacation destinations for me would include: London (All of the UK, actually), Bali, Thailand, Brazil, Alaska.

Now, I am supposed to tag [up to] 10 bloggers to participate as well, and since most have already done it, I’m going with four… so here goes:

1.) Tarquin Carlin
2.) Nicholas Trandhal
3.) Amy Thomas
4.) Sarah Lentz

Their questions:

1.) What object is closest to the left of your computer and how could you use it in the zombie apocalypse?
2.) You’re in the woods; it’s dark. Suddenly a branch cracks on the ground only a few feet behind you and all the little hairs on your neck stand at attention – what is the *first* thing you hope it isn’t going to be?
3.) What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
4.) What known (doesn’t have to be well-known) superhero would you be, and which of their villains would you most want to face?
5.) What charitable organization is closest to your heart, and why?
6.) What is your absolute favorite thing about yourself?
7.) What is your favorite season and why?
8.) Do you have any special talents?
9.) What were your three favorite posters that hung in your bedroom as a teenager?
10.) You’re a guest at a well-attended party, what are you most likely doing?

Thanks again, Mollie! I appreciate you including me!
